PUSKASBAZNAS.COM, DONGGALA - Center of Strategic Studies, The National Board of Zakat (Puskas BAZNAS) represented by Priyesta Rizkiningsih as Senior Researcher and Hidayaneu Farchatunnisa as Junior Researcher visited 2 (two) villages, Wani II and Masaingi Village, Donggala district, Central Sulawesi on Tuesday (8/05). The survey is aim to assess and measure IDZ in those villages.

In this occasion, Puskas Baznas also assisted by Baznas Central Sulawesi Province, BAZNAS Donggala District, and local village officials. The survey is done by Focus Group Discussion and interviewing the Head of the village, secretary of the village, some of the villagers , head of the neighbourhood and also members of ZDC program.

Those two villages have mountain and beaches area. The main products of the village are rice , coconut, cocoa, copra, cattle, goats  and handmade Donggala sarongs.

There is a port in Wani II village that becomes an entrance of logistics in Central Sulawesi. According to the head of the sub-district, the port can be profitable and also bring threats at the same time. He said that some drug cases have been found in Wani village as there is no tight control in the port. Therefore, the improvement of da’wah programs in the community must be carried out.
