On Tuesday (14/09/2021), Puskas BAZNAS and RnD LAZISMU held an Audience on the Results of the Zakatnomics Development Index Survey (IPZN) with the Board of Commissioners of BAZNAS and LAZISMU. Dr. Zainulbahar Noor and Rizaludin Kurniawan from the BAZNAS Board of Commissioner along with Prof. Hilman Latief, Dr. Nuryadi dan Dr. Sabeth Abilawa from LAZISMU Board of Commissioner were among those who attended the meeting.

IPZN was developed by Puskas BAZNAS in 2020, and in 2021 Puskas BAZNAS collaborated with LAZISMU RnD to implement IPZN in 9 Provinces across Indonesia. IPZN consists of 4 diemnsions which are: the Spiritual Dimension, Productivity Dimension, Economic Justice Dimension, and Zakat Dimension. The survey took place in 9 provinces across Indonesia which were: North Sumatera, West Sumatera, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, and West Nusa Tenggara Provinces.

Based on the early results of te survey, the overall score of the IPZN of the 9 provinces fall into the good category. 6 of the provinces were categorized as good while the remaining 3 provinces were categorized as fair. Further analysis shows that based on the 4 dimensions, the dimension with the highest overall score is the Zakat dimension.

The audience received various input from the respected sources. Several things were noted in order to improve the index before the final results can be published for the public.
