On Thursday (21/10) Puskas BAZNAS represented by Mr. Yunus Afandi, Mrs Hidayaneu Farchatunnisa, Ms Arwa Violaditya and Ms Ulfah Lathifah visited BAZNAS Depok City  to conduct a pilot project on Digital Readiness Index for Zakat Management Organizations Study. The pilot project was carried out by in-depth interviews with related departments. The leaders of BAZNAS Depok City, namely Deputy Head of Distribution, Deputy Head of Collection, and Deputy Head of Operations and Human Resources became the source persons during the interview.

The Digital Readiness Index Pilot Project activity was carried out in 9 zakat management organizations located in the provinces of West Java, Banten and DKI Jakarta. Overall, the pilot project activities at BAZNAS (BAZIS) DKI Jakarta went smoothly and all questions could be answered. In this activity, the BAZNAS Puskas also received comments and suggestions in order to improve the study.

The concept of the study is expected to be published after the pilot project was carried out in 9 OPZ targeted. In 2022, the Digital Readiness Index survey will be conducted in all OPZs throughout Indonesia. This study is the result of a collaboration between Puskas BAZNAS and the Department of Sharia Economics and Finances of Bank Indonesia.
