On September 20, 2023, a Pre-National Coordination Meeting for Distribution was held as part of the activities preceding the National Coordination Meeting of BAZNAS 2023. The event took place online via Zoom Meeting and was attended by the Commissioner of the National Board of Zakat (BAZNAS), directors, bureau heads, and staff of BAZNAS RI, also all BAZNAS provinces and districts/cities across Indonesia.

The program commenced with opening remarks delivered by Ms. Saidah Sakwan, M.A., as the Commissioner of BAZNAS in the field of Distribution and Utilization Division. After the opening remarks, the agenda proceeded with a presentation of the results of data mapping in the Distribution Division based on the Problem Mapping Form completed by each BAZNAS province and district/city. Mr. M. Imdadun Rahmat, M.Si., as the Deputy II for Distribution and Utilization, delivered this presentation.

Following the general presentation on the Distribution Division, the program continued with a session on the 2024 Distribution Targets for each BAZNAS province and district/city. This presentation was conducted separately in breakout rooms based on regions: Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Eastern Indonesia. Each session was guided by facilitators from BAZNAS RI who presented the distribution targets for each province and district/city.

The Pre-National Coordination Meeting was conducted as a follow-up to the Pre-National Coordination Meeting for Collection. Its purpose was to ensure that all BAZNAS provinces and districts/cities were informed about their respective distribution targets for the upcoming year, 2024. It also provided an opportunity for participants to provide feedback and input on these targets before their formal approval during the National Coordination Meeting of BAZNAS 2023.
