Jakarta, February 5, 2025 – This achievement underscores BAZNAS' ongoing efforts to uphold integrity and prevent corruption in zakat collection and distribution. By maintaining this prestigious certification, BAZNAS ensures that every transaction aligns with international standards for anti-bribery and ethical financial management.

Strengthening the 3A Principles
In addition to retaining its ISO certification, BAZNAS is intensifying the implementation of its 3A principles:
1. Aman Syar’i – Ensuring compliance with Islamic law in zakat management.
2. Aman Regulasi – Adhering to national legal and regulatory frameworks.
3. Aman NKRI – Supporting national interests and contributing to social welfare.

BAZNAS Chairman, Prof. Dr. KH Noor Achmad, MA, emphasized that this certification serves as a motivation to continue improving governance standards. “Maintaining ISO 37001:2016 certification is not just an achievement, but a necessity to ensure that zakat management in Indonesia remains ethical, accountable, and free from corruption,” he stated.

International Standards in Zakat Management
BAZNAS also successfully retained its ISO 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management Systems, reflecting its commitment to providing efficient, professional, and standardized services in zakat collection and distribution. The implementation of both ISO standards strengthens public trust and ensures that zakat funds reach the intended beneficiaries effectively and transparently.

The reaffirmation of these certifications comes as Indonesia’s zakat sector continues to grow, with BAZNAS managing over IDR 1 trillion in zakat funds annually. By ensuring a robust anti-corruption framework, the institution closes loopholes that could lead to misuse and reinforces its credibility as a trusted zakat authority.

A Call for Stronger Synergy
BAZNAS calls upon all stakeholders—government institutions, corporate partners, and the general public—to continue supporting the ethical management of zakat. The organization hopes that this achievement will inspire other zakat institutions across ASEAN and beyond to implement similar governance frameworks.

With transparent management and strong anti-corruption measures, BAZNAS remains committed to maximizing the impact of zakat in poverty alleviation, economic empowerment, and national welfare.

With this renewed commitment to good governance, *BAZNAS continues to set the benchmark for zakat management worldwide, ensuring that zakat remains a powerful tool for economic empowerment and social welfare.
