Based on calculations using the Zakat Potential Mapping Indicator (IPPZ) formula, the priority zakat potential that can be targeted for collection amounts to IDR 37.9 trillion. This amount consists of IDR 5.8 trillion for BAZNAS, IDR 4.4 trillion for Provincial BAZNAS, IDR 13.9 trillion for City/Regency BAZNAS, and IDR 13.9 trillion for Zakat Management Institutions (Lembaga Amil Zakat). The zakat objects that BAZNAS RI can prioritize include income zakat from both civil servants (ASN) and non-civil servants (non-ASN) across various institutions, such as state institutions, ministries, non-ministerial government agencies, the military and police (TNI-Polri), state-owned enterprises (BUMN), Bank Indonesia (BI), the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and national companies. Meanwhile, Provincial BAZNAS can focus on zakat collection from ASN and non-ASN, regional-owned enterprises (BUMD), and the retail sector. For City/Regency BAZNAS, zakat potential can be optimized through collaboration with Zakat Management Institutions, targeting agriculture, livestock, savings/deposits, corporate zakat, and income zakat from both ASN and non-ASN. This priority zakat potential serves as a reference for zakat administrators in focusing their collection efforts to achieve an on-balance-sheet zakat target of IDR 13 trillion by 2025, compared to the IDR 9 trillion (unaudited) collected in 2024.
