JAKARTA – Center of Strategic Studies, The National Board of Zakat (Puskas BAZNAS) The Republic of Indonesia held a training concerning National Zakat Index (NZI) in Taspen Tower, Sudirman, Central Jakarta on Monday (31/07).

Director of Puskas BAZNAS, Irfan Syauqi Beik, PhD delivered the concept of NZI to thirties people from distribution and utilization division of BAZNAS.

Also attended the training were Director of National Zakat Distribution, Utilization, Planning and Development, and Education and Training Coordination, Nasir Tajang, and Director of Finance, Human Resource, and General Affair Coordination, Kiagus M. Tohir. The training was held to socialize the index that was created by the Center of Strategic Studies (PUSKAS) BAZNAS. This index is a composite index which was built to measure the condition of national zakat development.
