Synopsis:
This book presents an in-depth study on the welfare of MSME entrepreneurs in Indonesia, recognizing their vital role in the national economy. MSMEs contribute significantly to job creation and economic growth; however, they continue to face major challenges, particularly in accessing business capital, navigating competitive markets, and overcoming limitations in financial literacy and technology adoption.
The survey reveals that the majority of MSME entrepreneurs struggle to secure financing from formal financial institutions, leading them to seek alternative funding sources, including Islamic social finance institutions such as BAZNAS. Furthermore, the underutilization of digital technology hinders their ability to expand market reach and enhance business efficiency.
Research findings indicate that religiosity, experience, and knowledge significantly influence the welfare of MSME entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, financial literacy and access to technological resources require further improvement to enhance their competitiveness and sustainability.
This study underscores that sustained support for MSMEs is crucial for strengthening economic resilience, advancing financial inclusion, and enhancing social welfare in Indonesia.
